Professionally I am a Software Developer. Although my last position title was Global Head of Information Technology<\/em>, I still maintained a hands on approach and developed a new Portal handling CRM, Leads, Sales Area Run Tracking, Dashboards & Health & Wellbeing features for the company.<\/p>\n

Over the last few years I have been developing .Net Core Web Applications, along with WinForm\/WPF apps to support background activities like automated Imports \/ Exports \/ Sending-Receiving Mail & Sending SMS Texts.\u00a0 I am also working on Mobile applications using .Net MAUI in JetBrains Rider.<\/p>\n

In Addition I also create the web services and RESTful API’s to support my mobile applications and other projects.<\/p>\n

I am currently working as a contractor while I look into opportunities for the future… fun ones. (although my sense of fun might be different to yours lol)<\/p>\n

Personally I am interested in propulsion and energy systems and have been learning some SolidWorks and doing some 3D printing on a small home printer.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

MY GARAGE SPACESHIP<\/h3>

MY GARAGE SPACESHIP is a brand new project that I’m working on.\u00a0 In line with inventing a brand new propulsion system, I thought I would start trying to build a futuristic spaceship specifically designed to utilize my propulsion system.<\/p>\n

I was always going to document the build, but now I am looking at sharing that on YouTube<\/a>.\u00a0 This will create the opportunity to meet like-minded people and also open the project to get help from those who have specific skills that will bring about a better result.<\/p>\n

Although it will need some of things we have come to accept as standard in aircraft, just as the Dragon Crew Captule is different to an airplane, my spaceship will also be different to both of those.\u00a0 Will it one day fly? Stick around and find out!<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

The Book of Shadows is a mobile application for the iPhone which I developed with my partner Jacqui.<\/p>\n

Jacqui had collected a lot of information on Herbs, Crystals and Essential Oils as well as a wealth of information on Wicca.<\/p>\n

I loved the idea of creating something very different from my daily business applications, and here we are.<\/p>\n

One of the most notable deviations from my normal app development was creating all of the graphics as 3D models using DAZ3D and rendering them in high resolution.\u00a0 The rendered images were then integrated into my normal workflow using Fireworks and Photoshop.\u00a0 This approach provided the app with a very coherent theme, relevant earthy colors and a great user experience.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
